I completed my J.D. in May of 2014 at Santa Clara University School of Law. I received a certificate with honors in international public law. Since graduating, I passed the bar exam in California and Pennsylvania. I have my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh with an honors major in Politics and Philosophy with a minor in Chemistry.
Experience
Work Background: While in school, I had the extraordinary opportunity to work in Chambers at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, The Netherlands, as well as in various clinics, including the Northern California Innocence Project and the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center Immigration Clinic. Since graduating, I have passed the California and Pennsylvania state bar exams. I currently work for a judge in Erie, Pennsylvania. Through these experiences, I developed the skills to explain complex and often confusing topics to people who may not be well-versed in the subject. I also have tips for managing time and a busy schedule that I think will be incredibly valuable in tutoring. Tutoring Background: I have been tutoring off and on for most of my life. During law school, I tutored and mentored my fellow law students as well as LSAT prep to prospective law students. I have been also tutoring school-aged children at the local YMCA in a variety of subjects. Although I tutor in many subjects, specialize in helping students prepare for important tests, specifically the LSAT and the SAT. I also have helped prepare students for the Bar Exam, specifically the MBE. Outside of test prep, I have helped students improve their grades in college classes and fine-tuned their writing skills. I am also available to proofread and provide feedback on essays.
